Attention: there is a considerable risk of injury
Stubai ring pitons with a welded ring can have too low breaking loads and must not be used further. The weld seam in the ring can be defective.

Affected are ring pitons:
Hardened:
Art. 957013S Ring piton diagonal, impact length 95 mm, hardened steel
Art. 957015S Ring piton diagonal, impact length 125 mm, hardened steel
With the batch numbers: 04/1, 10/1, 11/1, 13/1, 15/1, 17/1
Unhardened:
Art. 957013 Ring piton diagonal, impact length 95 mm, galvanised, soft metal
Art. 957015 Ring piton diagonal, impact length 125 mm, galvanised, soft metal
With the batch numbers: 04/1, 10/1, 11/1, 13/1, 15/1, 17/1

Art. 958016 V-ring piton
With the batch numbers: 1-04, 1-10, 1-11, 1-13, 1-15, 1-17

Pitons affected by the recall can be sent back to the distributor or directly to Stubai for inspection. The purchase price will be refunded.
Only Stubai pitons with a welded ring are affected. All other products are not affected.
